How to get started with your interior design project

Enquire

Every project at Marchmont starts in the same way, with a conversation about your space, and about the life you want to live inside it.

Tell us a little about what you'd like, and we'll take it from there.

Thank you!
We will be in touch soon.

A few details are all we need to begin.
The more you can share, the more useful our first conversation will be, but don't worry about getting it perfect.

Afterwards, you'll have a clear way forward. For many, that's the beginning of a full project with us. For others, it's a clear plan and confidence to take the next steps in your own time.

Your
plan received

A considered, paid 2-hour consultation at the property wherever possible. This is where we get to know its features, its quirks, your taste and how you actually want to live in it.

The consultation

Laura reads every enquiry herself and replies within two working days, usually with a few questions and a sense of whether we're the right fit for your project. If we are, we'll set up a call.

What to expect next

Camilla Heckerling, The Old Rectory, Wiltshire

"From the very first conversation, we felt understood. Laura asked the questions no one else had thought to, and the house that came out the other side is unmistakably ours."

Kind words
from past clients

That's rather the point of talking. Most people come to us with a feeling about their house long before they have a plan — bringing that into focus is the first thing we do together.

What if we're not sure exactly what we need yet?

Not in the least. We plan well ahead, and many of our projects begin as a conversation months before any work starts. Getting in touch early simply means we can hold the right window for you.

We're not quite ready to start. Is it too early to reach out?

None at all. The first conversation is simply a chance to understand your project and see whether we're the right studio for it. The consultation that may follow is paid, and we'll always be clear about that before you commit to anything.
